The first day's virtual cultural competition at Swami Atmanand Government Excellence English Medium School was conducted with some elegant and heart touching performances . According to the schedule, the programe is planned to organise at three different levels viz high school, middle school and primary school in three days.The vibrant talents and exquisite performances were exhibited by the high school students in the inauguration day.The program was conducted virtually and students and the stake-holders enjoyed the program online; more than two hundred students, parents and state authorities were connected via Webex virtual platform.The program was started at 12:00 pm and finished as per the schedule
The program was embellished with various types of social, cultural and educational theme. The folk song and dance performances beautifully depicted the tribal culture of chhattisgarh. The program was captivating, everyone enjoyed the programme with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The whole programe was divided into four different segments- solo song, solo dance, instrument playing and skit.There was neck to neck competition for every single event.In the solo song,Isha Tirkey from Mahanadi house, Ashtha Chanakya from shivnath house, Alto from Arpa house and Pallavi Minj from Indrawati house touched the heart of the audience with their soothing voice. In solo dance, Tamanna Bhagat with " Hamar para, tuhar para", Snehal Toppo with "Aigiri Nandi " captivated the virtual spectators. Vanshika Toppo from Arpa house enthralled everyone with her exquisite dance steps embodied the Sadri culture.Bhupesh Barrik from Mahanadi house entertained everyone with his surprising break dance. Karan Singh from Arpa house created an atmosphere of patriotism playing the tunes of patriotic songs in piano.Mahanadi House's Soumya Yadav attracted everyone with her glass harp. Shivam from Arpa house showed his music talent, Anuj Bhagat from shivnath house gave a vigorous performance by playing Mandar.
The skit performances were heart touching bearing clear massage to the students, parents and society. The performance on "illiteracy and superstition"presented by Roshan Chaurasia and companions touched the heart of judges too. The skit from Indravati House by Pranav Sahu and group, was about the safety of the doctor.Roshni Chaurasia and group from Shivnath house made the presentations of the drama on the basis of hospital management.Mahanadi House's Pranjal Das and companions captivated everyone with a presentation on the value of education.
District Education Officer Mr. N. Kujur, the chief guest, Inaugurated the competition with the lightening of the lamp.Along with this, the Principal of the school Shri Vinod Kumar Gupta, Mrs. Rohini Sinha, H.M of M.S, Ms. Smriti Kujur, H. M of P. The vibes of music, dance and drama were echoing with claps and appreciation in the auditorium hall of Sankalp, throughout the day.
